SAFETY DATA SHEET OF PRESENSITIZE POSITIVE OFFSET PLATE
A. MATERIAL DESCRIPTION:
Anodize Aluminum Sheet, thickness 0.15 mm to 0.30 mm, coated with a light sensitive chemical coating consisting of:
1. Resin
2. 2,1, Naphtho Quinone - Diazide
3. Blue dye
B. THICKNESS OF COATING:
1.5 to 2.0 micron
C. BASE METAL:
Lithograde Aluminum 99.9% Pure
D. WEIGHT OF ANODIC LAYER:
2.0 to 3.0 gm/meter
E. EFFECT OF VISIBLE (WHITE) & UVLIGHT:
On exposure to above light/ wave length 350 to 450 nm, for 30 to 90 seconds coating will change colour to blue
F. HAZARDS:
The coated plate doesn’t present any health hazard by contact to human body
G. FUMES:
The coating does not emit any irritating vapors or fumes at ordinary room temperature. No respiration effects.
H. FIRE HAZARDS:
The plates do not present any fire hazard. The coating will burn into ashes if put into direct fire. The aluminium metal will melt if temperature is high.
I. HANDLING PRECAUTIONS:
Wear rubber gloves while handling the plate during exposing and developing. Handle the plate in yellow, red or green light.
J. STORAGE:
Protect the plate from direct sun light and white light and store it in dry cool place at 25OC.
K. SHELF LIFE:
About 2 year from date of manufacture.
